Where to apply it
Sprinkle material over the waste or place it at the base of the caddy where liquid collects. Base placement works well because liquid drains downward and meets the material there.
Make dosing easy
Most users will not measure. Provide a sachet or a simple scoop so the dose is right by default, rather than relying on instructions that will not be followed precisely.
Manage expectations on contact time
State how long solidification takes. Users who check too early conclude the product failed, when in fact it simply needs more time.
Keep the material dry between uses
Store sachets or containers closed and away from steam and sinks. Material that has absorbed humidity works poorly and creates the impression of a weak product.
